March 14 Update
Hello Everyone,
I’m happy to say we have more great people and more great initiatives than ever in my twenty years running the CCRO. As a result, I’m going to try this blog approach to keeping everyone up to date about what is happening most recently, and providing links to the activities that you may want to get involved with…without bothering you with any unwanted e-mails. The blog also allows me to put plenty of links & images to get you where you want to go quickly, without running into the common company e-mail content blocks.
I hope you find this an effective approach & please do let me know if you have any ideas on ways to improve my communication! Don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any requests or questions!
Cheers

Scenario-based Risk Management
At the London meeting on Nov 30, we had a terrific discussion about the potential value of deploying a scenario-based approach to modeling risks, especially with today’s energy transition outlook. You might want to check out the transcript with summary bullets of the insightful comments & ideas made by our members at that meeting.
Brian O’Neal (formerly KPMG Energy Risk lead) has volunteered with this initiative as a thought leader along with Chris Dann (Publicis Sapient). They will be having a casual call with all interested members to discuss our focus as we move forward from conceptual discussions to more specific practice areas where the CCRO might develop work products to publish. I encourage any interested members to join in our casual discussions going forward, just let me know with an e-mail.
